Question 1

What makes essoetto different from other portable espresso makers?

Accepted Answer

essoetto is the only portable espresso maker with a built-in power bank. The CM-01 Pro pulls real 20-bar espresso and charges your phone, tablet, or laptop from the same 27,000mAh battery, so you carry one device instead of two.

Question 2

Is essoetto real espresso, or just strong coffee?

Accepted Answer

Real espresso. Both machines brew at 20 bars of pressure — the same commercial standard as a cafe machine — which is what produces genuine crema and full-bodied flavour.

Question 3

What kind of coffee can I use?

Accepted Answer

Both machines are Nespresso Original compatible out of the box, and the included naked basket lets you use any fresh ground espresso coffee. Nespresso Vertuo capsules work with the essoetto adapter, sold separately.

Question 4

Can I make cold brew?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use cold water and the soak-brew cycle, which pre-infuses the grounds before extraction for a smoother, richer cold brew espresso with no heating required.

Question 5

How many espressos can I make on one charge?

Accepted Answer

The CM-01 Pro brews up to 16 espressos on a single charge using cold water. If you start with pre-heated water, it uses far less energy and lasts considerably longer.

Question 6

Can it really charge my laptop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The CM-01 Pro's 27,000mAh power bank charges USB-C laptops, tablets, and smartphones. It is a genuine power bank, not a token USB port.

Question 7

Can I take essoetto on a plane?

Accepted Answer

Battery capacity determines carry-on eligibility, and rules vary by airline and route, so check your airline's lithium-battery policy before you fly. Always pack your machine in your cabin baggage rather than checked luggage.

Question 8

How do I clean it?

Accepted Answer

Detach the parts that touch coffee — brew head, capsule and powder chambers, and filters — and rinse them under water. Never submerge the main unit, which holds the battery and electronics; wipe it with a damp cloth.

Question 9

What warranty comes with essoetto?

Accepted Answer

Both machines are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase from an authorised retailer is required.
